Itinerary description
Start in Braunwald at the cable car Huettenberg that departs every 30 minutes between 9.00 am and 17.00 pm. The trail is well indicated with green signs Panoramweg-816. The trail takes about 3 hours, however we extended it. You can also take a shortcut. See below. Fantastic forest, flowers, continuous panoramic views and pleasant Berghüttes: Top-Tour.
Follow the Barti Erlebnisweg to the right, going up through a forest and leading to Berghütte Gumen. Possibility to take the Gumen cable car down and end the trail.
Just before Berghütte Gumen, 1901 m, we took the opportunity to go hence and forth to the paragliding point for a beautiful view in a gletcher valley.
From Gumen follwing the 816-trail, surrounded by flowers, to the next Berghütte, 1772 m.
Going further the Panorama trail brings you back to the cable car that brings you back to your starting point.
We took a right to the path indicated as Edelstein schacht, walking downwards via a pleasant, shaded forest. Take a right and contiue this path back to Hotel Tödliblick.
