Itinerary description
This is a beautiful hike in the hills and creeks surrounding the Brisbane Koala Bushlands. Following both the Stockyard Tributary and the Buhot Creek Tributary in its meanderings through the tall Eucalypt Forest.
There is a small area of transition following Leacroft Road through to the stock yard South section on both the way out and way back.
The track is a circuit with only a very small section of common track on the way back and on the way out.
The track concludes coming back by the wheelchair access track which gives a good feel for the types of trees that make up this forest. The start area has public toilets and also a audio and visual display learning area which summarises the birdlife and wildlife of the area.
