Itinerary description
I have mixed feelings about this trail. Not long after we started it, we went down a steep descent to reach the river through a dump. It was very difficult and unpleasant. We reached the river and walked along its bed. We crossed another difficult bushy section. I had a pruner that came in handy, but a machete would have been better. We had to cross this section as the river was not dry. The alternative was to walk inside the dry river bed should we have decided to do this hike towards May. But then, after those 2 unpleasant sections, comes the reward that makes this hike worth doing, the stalactites and breathtaking cliffs.
Be careful if you decide to do it and it would be advisable to coordinate with the Broumana Hiking Group.
