Benadalid to Benalauria. Vehicle can drop hikers next to the cemetery in Benadalid. Follow signs towards the Hotel Finca Almeji. Pass by the hotel and clearly join the hiking trail.
The route gently goes up overall. Easy terrain and great views.
At km5, there is a fork in the road. If you go right, you add approximately 1km to the route and you continue climbing. If you go left, you follow the "official" route into Benalauria.
