Itinerary description
The Buer glacier is an arm of the majestic Folgefonna glacier, Norway's third largest glacier.
From the center of Odda it is about 8 kilometers to Buer. From the parking lot you can already see the glacier from a distance.
There is a marked footpath to the edge of the glacier through the wild, lush and beautiful valley of Buer between towering mountains. The hike takes approx. 3 hours return.

beautiful, amazing trail.
classified as grade 3 in the local hiking maps, so it is "difficult"... not only for aching knees :) still you can meet kids doing it.
