Itinerary description
Connecting Kaghan Valley with Neelum Valley this trek is known for the famous Ratigali Lake a glacial lake in AJK. However, Ratigali is the name of the the mountain pass (gali) or the highest point on the trek where red clayey rock formation causes the snow and ice turn to color red (rati).
Starting at Burawai gives a height advantage to cross the 13000 feet high pass and the trek has marvelous views of highland valleys and mountain tops with lush green grass and snow and ice its a tundra like eco-zone.
