Itinerary description

This hike begins in the entrance leading to the Poza Do Arco and the Madalena viewpoint. The hike leading up towards the Madalena viewpoint is moderate. The views from here are exceptional. To the west you can see as far as the Atlantic Ocean and A Guarda, and all the mountains from the Portuguese side of the Baixo Miño. The descent towards Vilachan is quite easy and enjoyable. On the way we pass a picnic area that makes a good stop for a snack or lunch. We then reach the top of the Alto De Torona and it’s beautiful vineyards. The views here are also beautiful overlooking Vilachan and Tomiño. Our hike ends in the Vilachan park. Overall a very enjoyable hike. Happy hiking.
