Itinerary description
Waypoints
Mirador de las Barrancas
They are ravines or gullies. The rocks are soft and formed by clay and sandstones (clay tillage area), the agent that has eroded it has been the water of the stream. Finally it is a quite high meander of the river because there is a dam. This is also made up of soft rocks and they are clays of cultivation area, they are small hills with a strong precipitation
Meandro Divagante del Tajo
When the river is in its lower middle part, it does not have as much force within the riverbed as when it is in its upper part. The water has different directions and will always go the easiest way zizagueando. The river is very crowded because there is a dam. There are two parts: one that is attached to the ravines that has more strength and erodes and deposits it on the opposite bank of the ravines and is so full because we have a reservoir.
Mirador de los Enebros
In the vegetation of the area we find especially bushes, this is adapted to the loose materials that form it and to the scarcity it is a seriadic climate on the left we find junipers from the juniper fence the gin is removed. On the right we find broom also known as brooms, it is called that because formerly brooms were made with that plant. There is also esparto which is a reed with the yellow end. There are also aromatic herbs such as thyme or rosemary. Finally on the plain we find tickles.
Mirador del Valle
Embedded meander of Toledo. The materials in this area are hard (granites and metamorphic rocks) so the river has dug the bottom of the valley resulting in embedded meander that is practically a canyon.
