Itinerary description
From Busquistar, south eastwards and steeply downhill on the GR 142 to the Rio Trevelez. The steeply up the other side before leaving the GR 142 at Venta del Relleno. After a bit of road walking, another steep descent from Cortijos de Panjuila back into the Rio Trevelez Gorge, Finally a less steep re-ascent north eastwards back into Busquistar.

This is a great walk that combines really well the natural and human features of this wonderful region. It's not high, long or difficult - maybe this is why mine is the first review in nearly 5 years - but cracking scenery, both in the gorge and southward from road the other side, are a constant feature. It took me 2h50 at a leisurely pace with several photo stops. Highly recommended.
