Cala Millor:
—————-
Cala Millor is the largest tourist destination on the east coast of the Mallorca. The town has over 5,000 inhabitants and multiple hotels, and 1.8 km beach.

Sa Punta de N’Amer:
——————————-
Located between Cala Millor's and sa Coma's beach, sa Punta de n'Amer is a salient of land towards the sea with a total area of 200 hectares of great environmental and landscape value. A space rich in flora, fauna, historical remains and dune systems. It is a protected natural area, privately owned, declared a natural area of special value (ANEI) and a place of community interest (LIC) due to the abundance of "oceanic Posidonia" meadows in its marine environment and included within the Natura Network 2000. The land area has four plant communities: coastal dune and rocky areas, pine forest, scrubland areas (garriga) and juniper. As for the fauna, in sa Punta de n'Amer there are mainly four environments: coastal zone, with the presence of seabirds; the garrigue, which by its diversity generates food for many birds and insects; the pine forest, the highest plant formation here insectivorous birds can be observed; and the cultivation areas, with a large amount of food and used by a lot of species. The main historical elements of interest are, mainly, the archaeological remains of the Talaiot del Tancat de sa Torre, the defense tower from the 17th century, known as Es Castell and used to watch over and defend the inhabitants of the area from pirate incursions; the quarries used for the extraction of the mares (sandstone) and the bunkers on the beach of sa Coma, testimony of the spanish civil war (1936-1939).

Poblat talaiòtic S’Illot:
———————————
The s'lllot settlement is one of the most important sites in the Talayotic and post-Talayotic culture (850-123 B.C.) both for its monumental variety and its complex and vast historical evolution; which starts off in the Bronze Age and reaches the Middle Ages. The archaeological site consists of different monumental buildings, around which the houses where the community lived were built. The main one is the turriform monument, a community building from the late Brorize Age (1200-900 B.C.), which was undoubtedly the predecessor of the classic circular and square talayots (small watchtowers) of the lron Age. Around the turriform monument, different areas or rooms were later added, where part of the inhabitants of s'lllot probably lived. Among these structures is a kidneyshaped room, which was excavated between the 1960s and 1970s and has become one of the reference models to get to know what the houses looked Iike in the Talayotic era. The other structures on the site include a circular outer enclosure, which has been traditionally interpreted as a talayot; a surrounding wall preserved in fragments, which joins different areas, and two horseshoe-shaped structures located east of the wall that are typologically related to sanctuaries (places of worship). Furthermore, in the southern part of the settlement, which is closest to the sea, there is a network of structures that are set around a circular space, which has yet to be excavated. This area is the least known part of the settlement.

Porto Cristo:
——————-
Porto Cristo / Port de Manacor is a quiet resort & village with a natural harbour which still shelters small fishing boats from storms. Porto Cristo – or Portocristo – is located at the end of a long, sheltered bay featuring a blue flag sandy beach with nice turquoise waters. Porto Cristo retains the charm of its historic origins with ancient stone houses, sparkling white villas and the boats in the harbor. The main tourist attractions are two sets of caves, the larger Coves del Drach and the Coves dels Hams. The name Port de Manacor/Porto Cristo, meaning "The Port of Manacor/The Port of Christ" was given to it back in 1260 AD when a boat with a crucifix washed up on the beach at the time of the Christian invasion of Mallorca.

Public transportation:
Bus 401 from and to Palma.
