Itinerary description
The tour is very straightforward: being a hike around the rim of the extinct Bandama volcano: no way can you get lost! The chief problem is finding the starting point!
I parked on the road Lugar Campo del Golf and took a cinder track following it anti-clockwise. The alternative is to park on the road leading to the Pico de Bandama - you'll see all the cars and look for the marked track to do the tour in a circular direction.
In the town (by the shops) there is a sign saying Caldera de Bandama, but that leads down the the fllor of the volcano.
There's one part that's quite exposed so best not to do the tour if it's very windy.
You get some great views and if you want more drive up to the top of Pico de Bandama.

Really nice Trail. Easy to reach and easy to park. Amazing views and it can be done "quickly" if you go on a normal pace. Perfect afternoon plan.
