Itinerary description
This hike is visually stunning. I recommend starting from the Calderas and hiking to Faja Grande for 3 reasons. 1-It is mainly down from the Calderas; at first flat trails, then a pleasant uphill along a gravel road, then steep downhill. 2-the most spectacular views are always in front of you as you hike, 3-You end in Faja Grande where there are cafes and restaurants. My only caution is the last decent down the cliff is mostly mossy, worn stone steps, which if wet will be very slipery.
