Itinerary description
The trail starts easy at 840 m. After 1.7 km you start climbing about 530 m in 2.5 km to reach 1400 m at 4.2 km. You have then reached the ridge and from then on the next 7 km to El Pilar is more of a stroll. The downhill walk also starts easy but becomes more complicated when you reach the lava stream.
