Camino del Besseggen. Route somewhat touristy but not suitable for anybody. You must have a minimal physical fitness and not be afraid of heights. I am afraid of the heights and I had a bad time climbing it before reaching the highest peak.

It can be done in both ways. We first took a boat from Gjendesheim to Memurubu and started the route that ends at Gjendesheim again. This direction of the route is easier and it is good for you to take the boat in the morning and no longer worry if there is any time you finish the route or you can return by the lake (about 4 hours). On the contrary, you have the most beautiful landscapes on your back and you have to turn around to admire them (with me with my fear at the heights, it was good for me). Otherwise, the two lakes and the Jotunheimen mountains face much of the route.

To get there, you must leave the car to a car park before Gjendesheim (and pay for it) and there is a "shuttle" van that takes you to Gjendeshein.

In total, parking, boat and camping must be paid the night before (there are posters on the roadside with "no parking"). Have a minimum of 50 euros in total ... But pay
the penalty ...
