Camino de Santiago. Day 26. Villafranca del Bierzo - O Cebreiro

Day 26 of our Camino de Santiago. Today we were walking from Villafranca del Bierzo to O Cebreiro (29.93 km).
Yesterday we had a lovely dinner in our albergue and conversations with our fellow pilgrims. Met few new pilgrims (who are doing Camino from Sevilla - Camino de La Plata). We were discussing our today’s day, how it would be and the owner said, that last 3 km will be really tough. Actually it was last 9 km difficult, because the road ascends really fast and the second reason - it started to rain.. that we didn’t expected.
In the room it was only 3 of us (me, Nastya and Marla from Estonia). Other room was full of pilgrims. But I couldn’t sleep well because of bed bugs… I killed 3 of them before going to sleep, and later just couldn’t sleep nicely. We were talking with one pilgrim from Siria about it, he said, that it is good to use tea tree or lavender oil on the bed to prevent them coming.
Today was nice day (not considering the last part of it). Most of the way was next to the road, going through lots of small villages. Road was going like a snake many time under the highway.. But still very beautiful!
And the last part it was difficult, muddy, but so breathtaking (in all senses).
Here in o Cebreiro people are so sweet! We went with Nastya to have a cup of coffee. But local people didn’t let us pay! They said, that everyone in the village are like family. And they paid for us.
