Today was our 31 day of Camino de Santiago. We were walking from Palas de Rey to Ribadiso (27.60 km). Originally our plan was to get to Arzua (that is 3 km more).. but we decided not to go there for few reasons: first of all, Nastya was not feeling well today the entire day… So we were walking quite slow. Was really worried about her. But she is fine now (or hopefully will be tomorrow). I think, that we been walking for so long, that our bodies in some point, telling us to get some more rest.. Second reason was, that it was a lovely day! So warm, sunny and nice.. but last 3 km started to rain. And we were too tired already. Third reason: we have our friends staying the same place we are now, Albergue de peregrinos Ribadoso, who told us about this place.. and they told us, that it would be nice if we would stay here as well. But we already had a reservation in Arzua (very nice albergue).. but at the end, I cancelled it. And so happy, that I did! We had such amazing dinner here! With such lovely company of friends! Everything was just incredible!!!
There was a lot of nice moments on the walk. But we were discussing with Nastya, that its coming to the end.. And all Camino we were extremely lucky with weather and people that we meet. I said, that we also met a couple (he is from USA, she is from Poland.. and it seems that they are together now.. but they had met in Camino!) So I said, that even people can find love in Camino. Nastya replied: “Do you should of walk not with me, but alone. You might of meet someone as well”. I said: “No.. Thanks. I’m happy with your company!” I’m really grateful that it’s two of us, who understand each other. Who help each other. And we have lots of fun together!
