Trail from Capuchinos to Iglesia de Santa María Los Arcos passing through:
- Fuente del Piojo (0.8 km)
- Monasterio de Irache (2.0 km)
- Fuente con bancos (2.9 km)
- Iglesia de San Andrés (8.0 km)
- Fuente en el camino (10.1 km)
- Fuente Los Arcos (19.4 km)
Day 6 of our Camino de Santiago. We walked from Estella to Los Arcos 22.39 km. Day was amazingly warm, but very windy. So we didn’t know to put jackets on or to take them out…
Was fun to pass through the wine fountain (If it would be such in Ukraine or Russia, it would be already empty!)
Every day is quite a challenge. Because it seems that 23-25 km is not much… but with backpack it’s quite difficult. Plus the road is all the time going up and down.. But we are positive! We try to encourage each other. Smile and laugh.
Today we decided to stay not in albergue, but in an apartment (little bit comfort is nice)! Although first few hours had problem with heater.. so it was freezing inside. But now all good!
When we were passing through Obejua, heard a car making lots of noice beeping. I said, that I’m Caribbean it means, that he is selling some bakery. And it was true! So we bought some chocolate biscuits from them.
On the way we always try to find some berries, nuts (walnuts and almonds), figs, etc! It’s always fun!
And today, as we are staying in apartment, Anna maid for us spaghetti. Was delicious!
