Itinerary description
WARNING - we lost the official trail around the 12 km mark. We made it to the highway but it involved going through some bushes. Around the 12km mark you come to an open area with no clear route markings. You need to take the path that goes up to the left and into the forest.
This path was absolutely amazing. The views and landscapes were spectacular. It does involve some steep up hill parts but it's manageable for anyone reasonably fit.
The route is mostly well signed first with the yellow stripes and then with the red and white GR symbol once you get into the GR3. There are signs along the way telling you the different end point options and walking times.
Be careful to look for the correct path markers as the GR and yellow markers go different ways at one point.
The route is mostly easy to follow and there is a beautiful church and picnic area in Saint Perre.
The path is mostly through beautiful lush forests.
