Itinerary description
As you drive into Cáñar there is a small car park on the right. The tricky bit is then to find your way through the village. If you have to ask someone, you are looking for the GR-7 path towards Dique 24. The route follows a lovely footpath that then reaches a very impressive dam. Beyond that you come to an acequia, which you follow for a short distance before reaching the start of a steep downhill concrete track. At this point, turn and retrace your route. Some of the route follows paths where the drop is quite steep, so not for vertigo-sufferers.
