Itinerary description
"Pirates Bay" is the caves touristic name. The real name is "Poris de Candelaria".
Walk from Tijarafe to the "Poris de Candelaria". "Poris de Candelaria" is a big cave in a giant, nearly 50-metre high rock overhang. In the bay you find two-dozen houses - purely functional for fishermen and weekends. Although there is a motorable lane down to the bay, it is far more recommended to walk. Start out from Tijarafe and walk the track counter clockwise. The last part down to the see is on an old and nice cobbled path zigzagging down the steep slopes. please don't walk in mountain bike cross the way...
Nice spot. Thanks for the suggestion.
The way back (assuming you go counterclockwise) from the cave is not too exciting.
