Itinerary description
Cancho de los Muertos loop starting from the bus station in Manzanares el Real. Following Avenida de la Pedriza until first parking on the left hand taking the route alongside the river. Passing Parking el Tranco en continuing the route alongside the river now following PR-M1. After approximately 500m follow the route straight up the slab rock, following the ridge for a proper foothold and good friction. Continue to follow the route. Just after bar la Foca turn left to cross the bridge. After the bridge turn right straight up to Canto Cochino, from there taking a right turn following the paved road down to the next bridge to get back to PR-M1. On the crossing taking a left to follow PR-M1 and starting the ascend up towards Collado Cabron. At Collado Carbon keep right to follow the route up towards the ascend of Cancho de los Muertos. Lunch with view over the valley. Turn back to Collado Carbon, from there turn right to descend back into the valley. Keep right to join the main route "autopista" of PR-M2. From Canto Cochina follow the same route back to Manzanares. From el Tranco we followed the road back instead of the route along the river.
