Itinerary description
GR11 route. It’s worth starting early and pushing to the beautiful lake at the summit. It’s stunning. Some people were swimming, in case that’s your thing. I lost the path for a moment after the lake so we went cross country for a bit to rejoin.
After the ski station it seems to join the road, which doesn’t seem “on brand” for the GR11 but it seems that’s what other people did in Wikiloc, though we didn’t see many walkers after the ski station. Maybe they had a cheeky bus take them the rest of the way because the last 2 hours were pretty dull compared to the other sections. Finally arrived in Sallent de Gallego and currently looking for a cute terrace for a drink.
