Itinerary description
At Canillas de Albaida we start this circular walk. We leave the village through the cemetery and take the track down to the stream where we cross the bridge and ascend the zig zag pathway to arrive at a wide track. The next 3.5 km are along this undulating track towards the head of the valley until we meet our descending pathway.
This leads us down the the river then along a stony pathway crossing the river several times winding our way out of the other side of the valley. Once we arrive at the Water Mill and Roman Bridge we have a short sharp ascent back up to the village where we will take our refreshments at any of the bars in the main square.
This is a very picturesque horseshoe valley where we will come across avocado, fig, orange groves.
