Itinerary description
We started in Cantallops and followed the route accesible by car, but an otherwise bumpy drive. Passed some paths to see Dolmens along the way, which we visited on the way back. It's a rather sunny path until you turn at the castle, then it gets quite shady.
Word to the wise, bring water - plenty of it as there aren't any shops or villages along the way. On the way back after reaching the top and enjoying the views, follow along a fairly open meadow before starting the descent. We came across a herd of cows along with a bull like I'd never seen before, flaring nostrils with mist coming out, kicking up dirt with his front hooves. Luckily we could find a way to the other side of the barbed wire fence to steer clear of him. Gorgeous forests all along, tons of peace and greenery. Highly recommended to lovers of walking, views and beautiful forests.
