Itinerary description
Canyamel - Talaia nova des Cap Vermell - Font de sa Cala - Claper dels Gegants - Canyamel.
We leave from the beach of Canyamel passing through the bridge (known as pont des patos), we take the road to se coves and about 2.5 km on the right we will see the Canyamel Golf, just after this we leave the road turning right towards es Claper dels Gegants, (archaeological interest) you will see indicators. Once we have visited es Claper, we follow the path that will take us to Sa Font de sa Cala, right next to its beautiful beach. Now we have about 2.5 km of asphalt to cross Porvensals to the end. We follow the path to the lime oven, which takes us into a beautiful pine forest with some strawberry trees that color the landscape. There is a short but quite steep climb and you have to be careful, once you get to the top we continue to the right (there are some milestones and blue marks that indicate the direction of Canyamel). 1.5 km following the path we pass just below the Talaia Nova des Cap Vermell, the climb is optional but totally recommended, the best part of the excursion, the views are impressive.
We follow the path just below the Talaia Nova that will take us to Canyamel with a constant descent until we are left on asphalt, there we turn to our right and the next intersection to the left.
The excursion is moderated and you can combine the ways or start from the opposite start. You can go a little lower without visiting Cala des Contraban, Talaia Nova des Cap Vermell and Talaia Vella.
