Itinerary description
90km 6 day walk at Carnarvon National Park in Central Western Queensland.
This is a 'Great Walk' and covers a variety of fantastic country, starting in the majestic Carnarvon Gorge and traversing the ranges to the head of the Carnarvon Creek and through the Consuelo Tableland.
Reasonable days between camps in terms of distance, a couple of the days have reasonable getups to mix up the easy trail walking.
This is a very remote part of the world, so preparation for this one involved a sat phone to ensure we could contact help if needed, it wasn't.
