Itinerary description
From the viewpoint on the main road above Competa, along tracks to Casa de la Mina via the Puerto de Collado. Then continuing along the track to the north east as far as the Arroyo de los Pradillos. From here, I attempted to take the old path which zigzags above the track, but this proved to be heavily overgrown and I returned to the track, following it south for about 500m to join a good path leading northwards along the Loma de Daire as far as a point on the main path just north of the Venta Candida. From here, south west on a good path, passing the Venta de Pradillos to the Cruz de Canillas, then passing below the Vigilancia on Cerro Galivan, to continue southwards back to the Puerto de Collado and finally back to Competa.
