Itinerary description
A very pretty circular route above Naguelles, through forest following a river bed up to a ruined Hermitage; returning on open slopes with views up towards La Concha ridge and over to Marbella.
It would normally be classified as an ‘easy’, however there is an exposed section with chain handrail and loose gravel on paths which makes it a ‘moderate’. Boots or walking shoes are essential due to the rocky paths. There are easy stepping stones in the river if it has rained recently.
On the last section on road take care not to miss the small pedestrian security gate set back on your left in a small car park.
