In the heart of Europe is Slovenia, a jewel for hiking and mountain sports. A country where more than 60% is forest and stands out for its unique landscapes. With a population of around 2 million, this compact country is known for its majestic mountains, with Triglav being its highest and most emblematic point. Our first visit takes us directly to the Julian Alps, a majestic mountain range in northwest Slovenia that offers a spectacular setting for trekking and nature lovers. This mountain paradise is also home to charming alpine villages such as Bovec, the ideal starting point for exciting outdoor activities such as rafting and paragliding. With its stunning scenery and exciting opportunities, the Julian Alps are a must-see stop for adventure lovers.
Our case and after a pleasant route through the Triglav we have approached the Vintgar Gorge. This impressive gorge is crossed by the Radovna River, creating a spectacle of crystal clear waters and rock walls up to 100 meters high. A wooden path winds along the river, allowing visitors to explore this dreamlike setting. Wooden bridges and walkways add a picturesque touch to the experience. The Vintgar Gorge is a paradise for nature and photography lovers, offering unforgettable views in every corner. A must visit for those seeking the natural beauty of Slovenia. We have completed the route with a visit to the Sum waterfall, located at the end of the gorge, and the return through a beautiful wooded area to the hermitage of Santa Katarina.
We propose a popular and tourist route, but this does not detract from the charm of the area.
Simple, suitable for all audiences and with a place to have a drink, a toilet and hundreds of corners for photos.

Remember that you have to buy an entrance ticket, it costs about 18 euros and can be purchased in advance.
