Itinerary description
Very, very beautiful walk through the river Chalvagne to a 30 mtr high waterfall.
Park your car at the D610 at the indicated waypoint. Cross the road and take the path down to the river. At the river, you can go left first to a waterfall, about 5 mtrs high. Nice one, you can take a shower if you take the passage on the right.
Walk back upstream through the river till you reach a passage where you have to walk over a small, narrow ridge about 5 mtr above the water. Here you have to use a rope to cross the wild water. This is the most difficult part, but the waterfall at the end is certainly worth the effort!
About 20 minutes further upstream you will reach the big one in a cirque /cauldron.
Very impressive. Nice place for a picknick and a harsh shower.

The last big cascade but the clearness of this river and walking through it were very worth it. Little bit hard to find the starting Place. Find a Path to the river and basically walk up the river. Be careful with changing weather. River can fastly rise. Also make sure to register were you starter, so you can find tour way back to the road. Walked with two children (4 and 7)
Attention le parking et le pt de départ sont largement trop décalés (trop loin c'est plus proche de "Le champs" Mais on ne peut pas se tromper des parkings il n'y en a pas 36000. Super balade, joli et calme on a adoré.
