Itinerary description
<<< English >>> Entertaining route through a beautiful and dense chestnut forest in the valley of Ambroz. The route has no complications in terms of slopes or elevations but you have to walk carefully because there are several detours to the right and left. There is a detour with which you have to be especially careful. It is marked with a Waypoint and it is the exit of the main track that you have to do when you reach a stone wall, next to a building.
Among the various specimens of chestnut trees, this route has a particularly large one. It is indicated with a Waypoint. A picnic area is also marked, although it is a bit damaged.
We did the route when the chestnut trees had hardly any leaves on the branches and the trees were without much color. On the other hand, the enormous amount of leaves on the paths makes walking comfortable and pleasant. It would have been nicer if we had done the route two or three weeks earlier.
The car can be left after passing the village of Hervás, as long as the road is not occupied.
Nice route for everyone
