Itinerary description

Easy and very scenic riverside walk (Rio Guadarranque) which, after heavy rains, is not advisable to do but a perfect family or dog walking route any other time. Mostly shaded but can very get hot during June to August as it’s a gentle valley with dense woodland.
The walk is a dirt track and leads into venta La Jarandilla if you continue straight for another 700mtr from where we stopped and turned back. This is a fairly flat trek excellent for family outing as there as shady places to picnic and cool tour feet along the entire route. Of course, at the right season (spring) you will be rewarded with a colour full spectacle of hundreds of monarch butterflies ! Nature at its finest - highly recommended chilling trek easy to find and follow with the added bonus of a meal at the start/end point at venta la cantina !

The walk was really nice and peaceful. Was easy to find and parking space available. There are a few areas with grass where you can have a picnic.

Nice and easy walk. You can start by venta la cantina or venta la jarandilla and do it in reverse. Easy to do with kids
