Itinerary description
This is an interesting walk starting from the Repsol garage and is easily reversed. Going clockwise begin with a short roadwalk of about 800m and go under the motorway, follow the
well made woodland dirt roadway taking in a RH turn which now gives good views to the ruined Castillo on its rock promentory. Continue along the way marks until a fairly easy scramble leads to the ruin. The descent is steep at times and care needed with the winding descent. The pathway leads to the return tunnel which then leads onto another dirt roadway for some 600m or so when a RH turn gives on to a pleasant woodland walk. This opens out for the last kilometre or so to open scrub leading back to the Repsol garage where a Menu del Dia is highly recomended
