Scenery
Moderate
A thoroughly enjoyable walk through some beautiful scenery both woodland and mountains. This was a Spring walk, the freshness of the new growth, the colours and scents of the spring flowers were lovely and the beautiful bird song was a joy.
The route finding wasn’t too difficult except for when leaving the main path for the first time, near the derelict farm. After avoiding the fence we just headed straight up the mountain and eventually found a cairned (piles of stones) path to the summit. It is a very steep climb but you can’t really go wrong.
The route down is straight forward and the track that you join after several hundred meters of decent allows you to look around and enjoy the scenery, 360° of it.
The low score for the ‘information’ is only because I didn’t understand it.
Great walk, thanks. 👍
