Itinerary description
this is a moderate to hard Trail. until the third kilometer there's no much challenge but after things get harder and harder. this was my first attempt to Summit The North Face of the Cerro and I failed. I had to return because I was with my dog and this is definitely a trail not recommended for dogs or newbies. and there's too much trash to collect :-(

A straight trail, easy to follow is from the street that takes you to the Bust of Alfonso Reyes, on Alfonso Reyes Ave. in Colonia Country. I have done it multiple times. The elevation gain from the beginning of the trail to the summit is 1200 meters, it took me 2.5 hours one way. Bring gloves since there are many thorny plants and sharp rocks. During the summer, bring plenty of water since there are not any sources of water and temperatures get very hot , above 100 F (40C)
