Itinerary description
Short hiking to two iconic peaks in central Asturias, Sariego.
Cerro Gavio o Cimero, is the first peak you will find. There is a little cabin from where you can see: Oviedo, Gijon, Cabo Peñas, los Picos de Europa... beautiful views if the weather allows you to see.
Pico Fario is the second peak on the route. There are a lot of antennas and a point view. Is the highest peak in La Llomba saw of mountains. In my opinion, not as nice as Cerro Gavio.
Peña los Cuatro Jueces is the end of the trail. Once there you will see a rock in the middle of a field (representing the table) and 4 smaller rocks (representing the 4 chairs). 4 counties/regions limit there: Siero, Gijón, Villaviciosa and Sariego. The legend says that the 4 chiefs of those 4 regions use to met there once a year to have a talk.
Right at the beginning of the trail, it is possible to park the car. There is just space for 1-2 cars.
