Itinerary description

On the 5th of March we did the walk of he Defence Towers. We went by coach to the Isabel II Viewing Point with spectacular views of Ceuta and Gibraltar, and we started walking from there. We visited the towers of Isabel II, Anyera and Aranguten, all built in the late 1800´s, and the viewing point of Belliones. We walked through woodlands, by the riverside (with plenty of water, thanks to recent rains), along where they are building the new Seafront Walk, and finally through the ugliest part – the industrial estate, until we returned to the City of Ceuta. It was a very nice walk, without difficulty, and with lots of things to see and nice views. It is a pity that the Authorities of Ceuta have not refurbished the Towers and the routes (damaged by recent rains).
