Very difficult
This has stunning views but is a very hard trail. We hiked this in October 2022. You can park your car closer to avoid a lot of boring road-we parked near to where the trail divides, and you can also park at the mirador where there are parking spaces, that makes it a circular route with no need for the extra road to and from the church.
This is a technical trail and you need to be confident at scrambling as there is a lot of loose soil/rock on the first steep ascent and then it turns into rock scrambling uphill onto and along the ridge including the highest point. We are not confident scramblers so it took us a long time and we had to exit the trail less than half way, where there is a trail downhill (which is very nice) making the distance around 8km from where we parked.
An exhilarating trail if you love ridges, and the views were stunning.
If attempting the whole route you need to start early in the morning.
