Itinerary description
Hiked with Jon Harrison. Beautiful day and great first half of the hike with lovely view points of the sea.
Uphill first through forest, then some ridge mountain hikes, coastal hikes, downhill to the lighthouse and slightly tougher downhill from there because of cobbled street and loose soil. Went downhill through village to black sand beach (didn’t follow trail path on here for that). Then it was all uphill from there with no shade. Very tough. Had some knee muscle tightening issues and also back of right knee. Steps, dirt, and then a ramp led us back to our car.
