Itinerary description
A beautiful hike not far from Zürich. When arriving to Alt St. Johann, you can park where the Iltiosbahn (Unterwasser) stop is. You begin the hike beside the swimming pool, following the "Iltios" signals. When arriving to the air cabin stop, we decided to continue direction "Stöfeli". Once arriving to the Chäserrugg top, you can go to the top of the Hinterrugg and if you are lucky and there's no fog, you will have beautiful views of the Walensee (the deepest in Switzerland).
The way back marked maybe is better to be done at the beginning and the other way around. We decided to get the air cabin down to get to the car park, our legs were tired!
