Chinamada- Barranco Taborno- Playa Tafada y volver

El track es solo de ida, pero habrá que volver por el mismo camino..
Empezando por el parking de Chinamada caminamos por la carretera hacia Las Carboneras. En el punto señalizado empezamos a bajar hacia la izquierda, en dirección a un pino solitario y el Barranco de Taborno. Una vez pasada la zona de aprovechamiento agrícola bajamos hacia la Playa de Fajana.
El sendero no está marcado, es pedregoso y tiene un desnivel fuerte. No presenta dificultadas técnicas. En las zonas protegidas del viento puede hacer mucho calor.
La ruta no conviene a personas con vértigo y/o poca condición física. Para aprovecharse mejor de la playa conviene informarse de las horas de marea baja. En estos momentos la Playa Fajana nos ofrece además un charco natural protegido para refrescarnos, y disfrutarla sin peligro de oleaje fuerte o corrientes.

We start from Chinamada parking lot. Before reaching Las Carboneras village, we turn left (north) to descend towards a solitary pine tree and agricultural fields, having the Taborno gorge on our left hand side, until reaching the sea. The roc of Taborno (small scale Matterhorn) will be in sight for quite some time. The path towards the sea is not marked at all, and sometimes you may have to look around to find it.
There is no tecnical difficulty, but there is very little shade and temperatures may get hot. The track is not convenient for people with fear of highths or low fisical condition.
Fajana beach is wild, secluded, solitary but absolutely worth the effort. In order to enjoy your stay at the beach: check the hours of low tide! You will find a natural pool, where to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
