Itinerary description
UPDATE 03/03/24 - Unfortunately, the Chindia Waterfall no longer exists as the water has been diverted into a plastic pipe, which is a real shame. However, The walk is still worth doing.
A beautiful hike, particularly in spring when I did it. Then, the area around the waterfall was a riot of colour from the many flowers, including impressive displays of Viper's Bugloss. The path near the start, just after leaving the road, is very indistinct and difficult to locate and once found, care needs to be taken to remain on the trail. Eventually, the trail becomes more defined and easier to follow. After the waterfall, the majority of the hike is uphill back to Boca de Tauce.
A short video of the waterfall can be seen here https://youtu.be/1YjlZDhb1XQ
