Itinerary description
On the slopes of Mount Teide, this excellent circular walk meanders through pine forest and across lava flows from the Chinyero eruption in 1909.
The path is well marked with white/yellow painted stripes and there are information boards at some of the key junctions. The paths are a mixture of packed earth through the pines and loose lava stones across the lava flows. The walk is mostly easy, but some of the lava sections could be considered moderate as they can be a little unstable underfoot.
