Itinerary description
This was an "exploratory" hike with the Trekking Union of Kyrgyzstan (www.tuk.kg)where we had the pleasure of some scrambling and creek fording. The way we came back uses a bridge to cross the creek. The trail is mostly used by herders who cross the creek on horseback. Their route includes three crossings of the stream.

That's me in a blue shirt in the background where people are fording the stream, so I suppose we've hiked this trail together.))
Stephen - I do not really remember you, but I do recognize your website. Your photos are a pleasure to peruse. That was one of my more adventurous hikes with Andrey!
Agreed, I only really recall Andrey and my then-girlfriend being there, but was researching routes in Chuy for this summer and stumbled across here. Thanks for sharing the track, btw!
