Itinerary description
This path leads, through the "macchia", several venerable olive trees and the Aleppo's pine forest, from the town of Camerota to the mouth of the Mingardo river, following the old trail connecting Camerota itself with the near village of Palinuro. On the way there are the little church of St. Anthony and the ruins of Basilian monastery of St. Cono that contains some remains of Byzantine frescos (despite they are not actually visible).
