Cim de Benicadell from Beniatjar

Where I parked - Explanation of canals

I shortened the route a kilometer by parking in a relatively wide turn approx. 450-500 meters upwards from Beniatjar, compared to be parked in the town. Put the car aside from the road shoulder as much as possible to make passing undisturbed. There is place for max. two medium sized cars. If those are not available you can park in the town (Beniatjar) somewhere, but be aware that the streets are narrow. See also picture above which explains location of first and second canal.

Mirador de 'Les Marjaletes'

After the Mirador the track becomes steep and narrow some places. Be careful.

Sharp left towards the 'Nevera'

Here I met limitations of waypoints set by wikiloc. I strongly recommend the detour to Nevera del Benicadell. It's just 470 meters x 2 extra! The remaining part of the track is on a narrow, but good, gravelroad. It offers great views all the way down.
