Cima Cerro Gordo, Coin
This is a circular walk starting from the Nacimiento in Coin to the top of Cerro Gordo in Sierra Blanca.
The route goes up a firebreak up to a small summit (not a hard climb), and then picks up a hidden trail with some beautiful views of Sierra Alpujata and Barranco Blanco.
The trail eventually heads up and joins the Blue Quarry Sendero SL – A 180 all the way up to the summit of Cerro Gordo (not to be mistaken with the Cerro Gordo in Monda).
The trail then heads all the way down to Ciudad del Cine which used to be the old Eldorado film studios.
From here it’s a straight route all the way back to the start.
