Itinerary description

Very interesting trail to the summit o Cima di Fojorina in the pre-alps of Canton Ticino, Switzerland (border with Italy). The round trail starts and finishes at Cimadera. We also made an attempt for Cima Torrione, but gave up because the terrain was too slippery. We went on mid-March and encountered a good amount of snow in the southern face of the mountain.

Spectacular views of Ticino, Swiss and Italian alps, lake Lugano, and lake Como.
