Itinerary description
This is an easy walk in open country for most of the time with splendid views all around you between 1200 and 14 metres.
The Col de la Descarga can be reached by taking the 19 km. route un the D43 from Arles sur Tech. The road itself is very panoramic and well kept.
From the Col you can choose from various walking possibilities, amongs others the descent to the Pic de L'Estelle, 1769 m., but today we went fot a leisurely level walk.
The 'Tour de Batere' is the most prominenet and characteristic point which can be seen much lower in the valleys from many kilometers away.
