Itinerary description
From Ventas de Zafarraya, round the south side of La Corona, at first attempting to ascend to the summit from this direction. However, there is no path to the summit, or if there was one, it has now disappeared in the vegetation. Therefore, continuing eastwards on rough ground, often composed of loose scree, before descending to an agricultural area and a track which continues eastwards and then northwards to the small village of Pilas de Algaida. From here, westwards on farm roads back to Ventas.
